Race Description
The White Continent Marathon is set to return for its 11th Annual event on January 19-26, 2025, hosted on the stunning King George Island in Antarctica. This unique race allows runners to experience the thrill of running in one of the most remote locations on Earth, surrounded by the natural beauty of Antarctica and accompanied by wildlife such as penguins and seals.
Participants in the marathon can also look forward to additional excursions, including visits to a penguin colony and a nearby Russian research base. The event has gained recognition for hosting multiple world records, including those for the youngest athletes to complete a marathon on all seven continents, highlighting its significance in the global running community.
