The Waves Of Gray – 5K Brain Cancer/Tumor Awareness Walk is a community event held in memory of Fred K. Fenton II, who lost his battle with glioblastoma in 2016. The event aims to unite the Jacksonville brain tumor community, raise awareness about brain cancer, and generate funds to support vital research initiatives.
Scheduled for May 10, 2025, at the Jacksonville Beach Seawalk Pavilion, this annual walk will directly benefit the Waves of Gray Neuro-Oncology Endowment at Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center. Participants and donors are encouraged to join this meaningful cause that seeks to bring hope and support to those affected by brain cancer.
