Race Description
The Visser Family YMCA Buck Creek Run, presented by North Central Area Credit Union, is a cherished event coinciding with the City of Grandville's 4th of July celebrations. Established in 1974, this run aims to promote fitness and engagement within the community. The course traverses through the neighborhoods of Grandville and culminates at Grandville Middle School, fostering a festive atmosphere while supporting local programs.
Participants are encouraged to register by June 10 to ensure they receive a t-shirt. Online registration will remain available until the start times for the 5K at 8 am and the Kid's Dash at 9 am, allowing attendees to register conveniently on-site. The proceeds from the Buck Creek Run support scholarships for the Visser Family YMCA's Impact After School Program and other initiatives that benefit middle-school students in Grandville, Jenison, and Hudsonville.
