Race Description
The Viking Turkey Trot, featuring both a 5K race and a 1-mile walk, is set to take place on November 23rd, 2024, at Berry College in Mount Berry, Georgia. This annual event, starting at 10:00 AM, invites only Berry College students, faculty, and staff to participate in a race aimed at raising resources for health care initiatives for vulnerable populations.
Participants will enjoy a schedule packed with activities including registration, race announcements, and an awards ceremony for the 5K, which recognizes top finishers in multiple categories. The event, in partnership with Partners in Health, encourages runners to engage in a cause-driven run focused on health equity among communities. Registration is currently open, and all attendees are reminded that the event will go ahead regardless of weather conditions.
