Race Description
The Valpo Police K-9 Unit 5K9 Run & 1 Mile Dog Walk is set to take place on Friday, May 16, 2025, at Central Park Plaza in Valparaiso, Indiana. The event will feature a Jr. Police Run at 5:30 PM, followed by the main 5K run at 6:00 PM and a 1 Mile Dog Walk at 6:15 PM. Participants who pre-register by May 5, 2025, will receive moisture-wicking shirts.
Awards will be presented in various categories, including Overall Male and Female, and multiple age groups ranging from 0 to 80+, as well as special categories for Athena and Clydesdale participants. The event offers computerized timing, water stations, and a road course characterized by moderate hills. Registration is open online until May 16, 2025, and day-of registration is available at a higher fee.
