Race Description
The Uwharrie 18 Hour Adventure Race is set to take place on June 7th and 8th, 2025, at Morrow Mountain State Park in Albemarle, NC. This exciting event combines hiking, biking, and paddling, requiring participants to navigate the beautiful yet challenging terrain of the Uwharrie Mountains, an area rich in wildlife and outdoor recreational activities.
Participants, forming teams of 1 to 4 members, will need to demonstrate speed and determination as they tackle the course that features both daytime and nighttime challenges. The race promises an adventure through scenic backwoods with a unique overnight experience. For those interested in camping, early reservations are recommended as sites are limited.
