Race Description
The inaugural Turkey Trot for A-Rare-Ness: MPS1 will be held on Thanksgiving Day, November 28, 2024, in Rockwood, Tennessee. This event, organized by The Kennedy Ladd Foundation, aims to raise awareness and funds for the fight against MPS1, a rare genetic disorder. Participants of all ages are welcome to join the 5K run/walk as well as a variety of family-friendly activities throughout the morning.
Registration for the Turkey Trot is currently open, with early bird pricing available until October 31, 2024. Participants can look forward to a festive atmosphere, prizes for various categories, and light refreshments after the race. The event is designed to promote community spirit and support for those affected by MPS1, making it an anticipated Thanksgiving tradition in Roane County.
