Race Description
The Tunnel to Towers 5K Run & Walk is set to take place for the first time in Preston, Georgia on November 9, 2024. This annual event is designed to honor the memory of Stephen Siller, a firefighter who lost his life during the September 11 attacks. Participants can expect to come together as a community to celebrate first responders and raise funds for humanitarian efforts.
This year's run will feature a distance of 5K (approximately 3.2 miles), welcoming runners and walkers of all ages. Packet pickup will occur on November 8 and on race day, with on-site registration available as well. The event promises to foster camaraderie among participants, with water stations along the route and emergency medical services on site to ensure safety.
