Race Description
The Trick or Trot 5K Trail Run is set to take place on Saturday, December 7, 2024, at Ann & Chuck Dever Regional Park in Englewood, FL. Originally scheduled for October due to Hurricane Helene and Hurricane Milton, the event has been rescheduled, promising a fun-filled day with a Nightmare Before Christmas theme that includes both a 5K run and a 1-mile walk.
Participants can enjoy a variety of activities including a glow-in-the-dark finisher medal for 5K runners, costume contests, and post-race refreshments such as pancakes and beer for those aged 21 and over. All proceeds from the event benefit the Zoomers Scholarship Fund, supporting young athletes within the community.
