Race Description
The Thunder in the Valley Triathlon, celebrating its 40th anniversary in 2025, is set to take place on May 10, 2025, in Terre Haute, Indiana. This USAT certified event offers both triathlon and duathlon formats, promising athletes a day filled with competition and camaraderie in the scenic Hawthorne Park.
Participants can look forward to a variety of race distances, including a 500-meter swim, a 20-kilometer bike ride, and a 5-kilometer run for triathletes, alongside a duathlon option featuring a run-bike-run format. Registrants will receive custom race swag, including anniversary medals and t-shirts. Registration is currently open for both novice and experienced athletes.
