Race Description
The Moon Run 5k is set to take place at Victor Ashe Park in Knoxville, TN, on December 8, 2024. Organized by Wallace Memorial Church, this event aims to raise support for the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering to benefit global missions. Participants can expect an evening of fun and community, illuminated by the light of the moon.
The race will feature a 5k course and a one-mile fun run/walk. Packet pickup is scheduled to begin at 4:30 PM, with the race starting at 5:30 PM. It's a family-friendly event, encouraging participants to bring headlamps and glow sticks to enhance the nighttime atmosphere. Registration is currently open, although those signing up after November 18, 2024, may receive shirts only while supplies last.
