Race Description
The Jersey City Road Runners (JCRR) have announced the 3rd Annual Jersey City Marathon and Half Marathon at Newport, scheduled for April 13, 2025, starting at 7 AM. This USA Track & Field sanctioned event will take place on a USATF certified course, heralded as one of the fastest and flattest in America, allowing runners to traverse the culturally rich neighborhoods of Jersey City.
Participants can register for the marathon or half marathon, with a unique referral rewards program that gives runners the opportunity to earn back up to $75 off their registration fees by referring friends. Additionally, this event will serve as a qualifying race for the 2026 Boston Marathon, underscoring its significant standing in the competitive racing calendar.
