Race Description
The INDY 5K presented by BlueCross BlueShield of Alabama is scheduled to take place on May 2, 2025, at the Barber Motorsports Park in Birmingham, Alabama. This unique race will allow participants to experience the renowned race track, featuring a 17-turn road course at one of the country’s premier motorsports venues. In addition to the race, participants will receive a general admission ticket to the Children's of Alabama Indy Grand Prix on the same day.
Runners will receive a medal, a race t-shirt, and a swag bag as part of their entry fee, along with chip timing for the 5K course. Additional benefits include parking and access to the post-race party, highlighting the event's community-oriented spirit. Participants are advised to register early, as the first 500 registrants will receive a t-shirt in their selected size, making this event not only competitive but also family-friendly.
