Race Description
The Great Empanada 5/10K 1M K9 Walk is set to take place on September 28, 2025, at Thompson Park in Monroe Township, NJ. This exciting event, organized by MegaBite Events, invites participants to choose between multiple distances: a 5K, a 10K, or a 1-mile walk alongside their canine companions. Each finisher will be rewarded with delicious, freshly cooked empanadas from Freakin Empanadas, adding a unique twist to the race experience.
Registration for the race is now open, with prices starting at $20 for the 1-mile K9 walk, $38 for the 5K, and $48 for the 10K. Participants are encouraged to register early, as the first 300 registrants are guaranteed a T-shirt and medal. The event promotes community and health, welcoming runners and walkers of all skill levels, and features a festive atmosphere to celebrate the accomplishments of all participants while supporting a great cause.
