Race Description
The Arc of Pearl River County is set to host its first annual 5K Glow Run on March 15, 2025, in Picayune, Mississippi. This unique nighttime race aims to support the only local non-profit organization dedicated to assisting individuals with intellectual and developmental needs throughout their lifespan. Participants are encouraged to dress in bright and sparkling attire as they illuminate the streets in this family-friendly event.
The untimed race offers both a 5K and a 1-mile fun loop, allowing participants to enjoy the experience without the pressure of a clock. Each 5K contestant will receive a glow-in-the-dark T-shirt, runners' bib, and access to post-race festivities, including food, music, and fun activities. Registration will remain open until race day, welcoming both online and on-site sign-ups for those wishing to join the excitement.
