GLRR is proud to announce the 2025 Angry Chicken Race Series taking place in Lowell, MA. This unique race series consists of eight races held every Tuesday evening from June 10th to August 12th, bringing together runners of all levels to compete in a fun atmosphere. Each race covers a distance of 2.62 miles, one-tenth of a marathon, and will follow a counter-clockwise loop along the Riverwalk.
Participants can enjoy a variety of activities including prize drawings after each race, a best costume competition, and opportunities to support a good cause. Donations collected during the final race will benefit Catie's Closet, a non-profit organization that provides essential items to students in need. With a modest entry fee of $10 per race or $70 for the full series, runners will not only challenge themselves but also contribute to community support efforts.
