Race Description
The 3rd annual Aden Perry Hero Event is set to take place on December 7, 2024, at Markham Park in Sunrise, Florida. This 5K walk/run aims to honor the life and legacy of Aden Perry, celebrating his selfless and heroic acts that made him a community hero. Participants are encouraged to bring school supplies to donate, which will assist students in need and support their academic journeys.
This year's event will feature a variety of activities including a pre-race warm-up session, live DJ, and post-race fun complete with interactive pickleball games. Participants will also have a chance to win prizes through raffles, including a chance for one lucky winner to take home a custom golf cart. Additionally, outstanding runners in the 15-19 age group will have the opportunity to win a college scholarship in honor of Ethan Lawrence, a former participant who tragically lost his life. All funds raised will support the Aden Perry Good Samaritan and Scholarship Fund, which provides essential educational resources to students in the community.
