Race Description
The seventh annual Tacky Sweater 5K is set to take place on December 7, 2024, in Norfolk, Virginia. Participants will enjoy a festive experience with both a 5K run and a 5K walk while supporting EVMS Melanoma Awareness. Racers will start and finish at the Smartmouth Brewery, taking them along the scenic Elizabeth River Trail.
The event promises a lively atmosphere with early packet pickup and registration happening on December 6, 2024, at Smartmouth Brewing Company, followed by a post-race party featuring food, entertainment, and awards. The race aims to raise funds for the EVMS Dermatology and the Dermatology Student Group while celebrating community spirit with a fun Tacky Sweater contest.
