Race Description
The Sy-5K in Tyler, Texas is set to take place on January 4, 2025, as part of the celebration for National Science Fiction Month. Participants can expect a fun, family-friendly atmosphere as they take on the 5K course, with rewards including a unique 4-inch light-up finisher medal for those completing the race.
This year's race will also feature a new Kid's Dash, offering a short sprint for children before the main event. Registration for the Sy-5K includes an event-themed t-shirt in addition to the medal; however, no age group awards will be offered, with medals only for the top finishers in overall and master categories.
