Race Description
Scheduled for August 9, 2025, the Swim for Grand Traverse Bay invites participants to celebrate and advocate for clean water in the bay through a unique open water swimming event. The race aims to benefit The Watershed Center Grand Traverse Bay, a non-profit organization dedicated to the protection of the bay and its vast watershed.
The two-mile swim will take place in Traverse City, Michigan, at a location yet to be determined. Participants are encouraged to raise a minimum of $150 to support water advocacy efforts, with no prior fundraising experience necessary, as resources and guidance will be provided to assist swimmers in their fundraising journeys.
