Race Description
The annual Sweaty Sweater 5k or 1 Mile Walk is set to take place on December 7th, 2024, at Mount Rainier Elementary School in Mount Rainier, MD. Participants can enjoy a festive atmosphere with complimentary hot apple cider, hot chocolate, and donuts before either running or walking the various courses. This free, untimed event welcomes runners, walkers, children, and dogs alike.
Organized by the Mount Rainier Recreation Committee, this holiday-themed event encourages community participation and provides medals for registered participants. Interested individuals are encouraged to register in advance through the event's website to confirm their attendance. The race will kick off at 9 AM, promising a joyful start to the holiday season for all involved.
