Race Description
The Summer Splash 5k is set to return on June 21, 2025, offering both runners and walkers the chance to participate in a family-friendly race aimed at raising funds for cancer care in the Upper Cumberland region. This year's event will take place at Dogwood Park in Cookeville, TN, with a start time of 6 PM and optional cooling stations along the course.
Proceeds from the race will benefit the Cancer Care Fund at the Cookeville Regional Charitable Foundation, with participants encouraged to run in memory or honor of loved ones affected by cancer. The event celebrates the memory of Sarah Alice Bagci, who fought against Burkitt's Lymphoma, reminding all participants of the significant impact their contributions can make.
