Steps for Students 5K

The Steps for Students 5K is an annual charity race held in Houston, Texas, benefiting the 55 Catholic schools within the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston. This family-friendly event includes a Sunrise Mass, a sanctioned 5K race, and a post-race celebration designed to engage the local Catholic community. In 2024, the event saw nearly 9,000 participants and raised approximately $800,000 to address the unique needs of Catholic schools in the area.

Scheduled for February 8, 2025, the Steps for Students event offers various ways to participate, including joining the race, serving as a fundraising champion, or engaging with community festivities. Participants can also opt to run at their own pace through the Hit Snooze for Students initiative. With registration now open, the organizers look forward to another successful celebration in support of Catholic education.
