Race Description
The Statesboro 5K Turkey Trot is set to take place on November 23, 2024, in Statesboro, Georgia. This annual fundraising event supports the Bulloch County Foundation for Public School Education, which provides innovative grants for educators and scholarships for local students. Registration is currently open and participants can sign up individually or register as teams for discounts.
The event features various activities, including a 100-yard dash for mascots at 8:30 a.m., followed by a fun run for children under 12 at 8:45 a.m., and the main 5K race beginning at 9:00 a.m. Participants receive a gift bag, and the first 300 registrants will also receive a t-shirt. Proceeds from the race go towards funding educational initiatives that enhance the learning experiences for children in the community.
