Race Description
The Southern Illinois 10K, Micro-Marathon, and PeeWee Marathon will be held on April 12, 2025, at the Crab Orchard National Wildlife Refuge. This event is part of the River to River Runners Club Championship Series, featuring a 10k run starting at 7:30 AM, followed by the Micro Marathon at 9:30 AM, and the PeeWee Marathon at 10:30 AM.
Check-in and race day registration will begin at 6:30 AM, with participants registered by March 29 guaranteed a T-shirt. The course is primarily flat with gentle rolling hills, starting and ending at the refuge headquarters on Headquarters Road. Awards will be given to the top finishers in various age groups and participants of all three events will receive special recognition.
