Race Description
The SML Turkey Trot is set to take place at Smith Mountain Lake State Park on November 28, 2024, offering a kid's 1-mile run and a family-friendly 5k event. The race, organized by LAT Wellness Studio, starts at 9 am and is open to both walkers and runners, making it a perfect event for families during the Thanksgiving holiday.
Participants are encouraged to register before October 31 to secure a race shirt, and there will be prizes for the top finishers. With a portion of the proceeds going to the state park, the event aims to not only promote fitness but also support the local community.
