Race Description
The inaugural Seminole State New Year’s 5k Run is set to take place on January 11, 2025, encouraging residents to kick off the new year with an active lifestyle. Participants can join the run to begin their fitness journey, aim for personal records, or enjoy a relaxing stroll with friends while supporting the Seminole State cross country team and track club.
The event will be held at the Sanford/Lake Mary campus of Seminole State College, with packet pick-up scheduled for January 5, 2025. The race will commence at 7:00 am, with awards presented at 8:00 am to the top five overall male and female finishers. The organizers recommend using alternative entrances for parking due to road closures.
