Race Description
On November 30, 2024, the Seattle Ghost Marathon, now in its 39th year, will take place in Seattle, WA. This popular marathon began in 1985 and has become notable for its flat and fast course, making it a certified Boston Marathon qualifier. Runners will complete a scenic route along Lake Washington, featuring two loops of 13.1 miles each.
The race will start and finish at the Ferdinand St Boat Launch and takes participants south on a clockwise loop around Seward Park before heading north along Lake Washington. With a limit of 400 participants, the race ensures a manageable environment for runners and will feature aid stations every 3.1 miles. Packet pickup will occur on race day, and note that dogs and strollers are not allowed on the course due to sidewalk sections.
