Race Description
The Saxonburg Truthahntrab 5K and 1K Fun Run is set to take place on November 30, 2024, at 9 AM, following the Thanksgiving weekend. This event invites participants to enjoy the scenic routes of Saxonburg, historic for its Germanic roots since 1832, while running for a cause that supports local athletic programs.
Participants can choose between a competitive 5K and a fun 1K run, both starting at Roebling Park. The 5K course is largely paved and includes picturesque views of the countryside. Unique turkey-themed awards will be given, and all proceeds will benefit the Knoch cross country and track and field programs. Registration is currently open until November 29, 2024, with discounted rates for younger participants.
