Race Description
On December 7, 2024, the South Kitsap Rotary will host the first annual Santa Sleighs 5K in Port Orchard, WA. This festive event invites participants to dress as their favorite holiday character, and the first 250 entrants will receive a Santa costume to wear during the run. Additionally, a 1K Kids 'Reindeer Run' will take place just before the main race, ensuring fun for the whole family.
The race will traverse the scenic McCormick Woods golf course, decorated with holiday lights and festive music to create a joyous atmosphere. Participants can unwind post-race with hot cocoa and cookies, all while supporting a good cause, as proceeds from the event will benefit the local South Kitsap community. Registration is currently open for those looking to spread holiday cheer while participating in this unique event.
