Race Description
The Yuba-Sutter Training Zone is set to host the 2024 Running of the Elves 5k/10k race on Saturday, December 7th, starting at 8am. This event aims to benefit Jayden's Shoes, a foundation honoring the legacy of Jayden A. Bird, a young athlete who tragically lost his life in 2023.
Participants can begin registration at 7:15 am on race day at the Training Zone in Marysville. The 10k race kicks off at 8am, followed by the 5k at 8:05am. Medals will be awarded to the top three finishers in various age categories, emphasizing both competition and community spirit.
