Race Description
The Hillsborough Running Club is set to host the 5th annual Running of the Elves on December 8, 2024. This festive race will take place just before the Hillsborough Holiday Parade, allowing participants to run in front of a cheering crowd along the same route. The unique Elf-themed event encourages runners to wear themed shirts, hats, and bells, adding to the holiday spirit.
Scheduled to start at 4:00 PM, the race will begin on Mitchell Street in downtown Hillsborough and conclude at Churton Street outside the Historic Courthouse. Priced at $20, participants are reminded to register early, especially for any additional themed merchandise if they missed ordering during registration. Pets and strollers are welcome, but participants are asked to keep moving as the parade begins shortly after the last racer makes the turn onto Churton Street.
