Race Description
The annual event "Run the Redline: A 5k for Fair Housing" is scheduled to take place on April 26, 2025, at the Summit Lake Community Center in Akron, Ohio. This race combines fun with purpose, as participants can run, walk, or roll along a scenic path while promoting fair housing initiatives. The event is part of a series celebrating the 60th Anniversary of the Fair Housing Contact Service, highlighting their commitment to housing justice.
Registration is currently open, with special pricing available for participants aged 14 and under. The event will also feature a 1-mile fun run beginning at 8:00 am, followed by the 5k start at 8:30 am. Awards will be presented to the top three overall finishers and the top three in designated age groups, making this a competitive yet community-oriented event.
