Race Description
The Rowlett Holiday 5K & Fun Run is set to take place on December 21, 2024. This inaugural event aims to celebrate the holiday season while promoting fitness and community spirit in Rowlett. Participants can choose to run or walk in this family-friendly event that promises fun and festivity, encouraging everyone to dress in their holiday best as they navigate the course around Rowlett High School and the nearby park.
Event registration is currently open, with all 5K participants guaranteed a finisher medal. The day will feature a schedule that includes check-in starting at 7:15 AM, followed by the 5K race at 8:30 AM, and a Fun Run at 9:30 AM, culminating in an awards ceremony at 10:00 AM. Attendees can also enjoy various vendors from local student groups and food trucks, making it a vibrant community gathering.
