Race Description
The annual Ripley's Penguin Dash Run/Walk is set to take place on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at the Ripley's Aquarium of Myrtle Beach. This family-oriented event will feature a variety of distances including a 1 Mile Family Fun Run/Walk and the Penguin Dash 5K, all celebrating the South African penguins in a fun and engaging atmosphere.
The Penguin Dash is not only an enjoyable athletic challenge but also supports conservation efforts, with a portion of the proceeds going to the Southern African Foundation for the Conservation of Coastal Birds. Participants can expect various race start times throughout the morning and are encouraged to dress up in fun penguin-themed costumes.
