Race Description
The One Small Step for Runners: National Lunar Landing Run is set to take place on July 13, 2025, in Santa Monica, California. This unique race combines a tribute to the historic Apollo 11 mission with an opportunity for runners of all levels to participate in a 5K, 10K, or Half Marathon, encouraging them to embrace the spirit of exploration.
Participants can expect bib pick-up to start at 6:15 AM, with the Half Marathon kicking off at 7:00 AM and the 5K and 10K races commencing at 7:30 AM. Street parking is available, but runners are advised to use the paid parking lot near the start line to avoid delays. Awards will be presented to the top three finishers in each category, enhancing the competitive spirit of this celestial-themed event.
