Race Description
The Newton Turkey Trot is set to celebrate its 11th edition on November 24, 2024. Participants will start and finish at Zervas Elementary School, taking part in a certified 5K run through scenic Newton neighborhoods. This popular family event, which consistently attracts over 1,400 runners each year, emphasizes health awareness and community service, maintaining partnerships with local food pantries and organizations supporting individuals with disabilities.
Participants registered by October 17th will receive a commemorative Newton Turkey Trot t-shirt, further enhancing the experience of this community-centric race. The event is designed to ensure participant safety with no bikes or strollers allowed on the course, and provisions for dogs to line up at the back.
