Race Description
The Mosby Woods Turkey Trot & Sidewalk Stroll is set to take place on Thanksgiving morning, November 28, 2024. This community-oriented event promotes a spirit of togetherness while encouraging participants to support local food banks by donating non-perishable food items instead of paying a formal entry fee. The run/walk consists of a 5K main event and a 1K kids' run, both starting and finishing at the Mosby Woods Pool in Fairfax, Virginia.
This year's event is sponsored by the Mosby Woods Community Association, the Mosby Woods Pool, and local realtor Rob Traister. Participants can expect medals for finishers in both events, along with a finisher's medal for the first 100 5K finishers and all kids’ 1K finishers. As always, the goal is to create a fun, supportive atmosphere while contributing to the Food For Others food bank in Merrifield, VA.
