Race Description
The Mimosas for Marrow 5K, taking place in Wilmington, Delaware, on April 13, 2025, aims to support families impacted by blood cancers and increase awareness for bone marrow donations. This annual event has become a symbol of hope and determination as participants come together to honor those in need of lifesaving transplants.
Founded by Sam and Brittany to honor Sam's daughter, Oakley, who underwent a bone marrow transplant, the event encourages community participation and aims to surpass fundraising efforts from previous years. In 2023, the event raised over $26,000 with support from 626 participants, and this year they hope to achieve even greater success.
