Race Description
The Memorial Bataan March is scheduled to take place on March 22, 2025, starting at 7 AM from San Marcos High School in San Marcos, Texas. This event commemorates the bravery of American and Filipino soldiers during the Bataan Death March, honoring their sacrifices during World War II. Participants will march approximately 15 miles to VFW Post #3413, carrying canned goods for donation as part of the Ruck Division.
Organized by the Air Force JROTC at San Marcos High School in conjunction with the Maurice T. Suttles VFW Post #3413, the event aims to ensure that the legacy of those who suffered during the Bataan Death March is not forgotten. Teams of 3 to 5 members can receive a discount on registration, and participants will receive a commemorative event t-shirt if registered by March 8, 2025.
