Race Description
The inaugural Meche's Mile, organized by Tour de Lafayette, is set to take place on Sunday, December 8, 2024, at 8:00 AM. Participants can choose between an open mile or a special DONUT mile, where they must consume a Meche’s glazed donut before running. The event, located at Moncus Park in Lafayette, LA, aims to promote fun, movement, and community spirit among runners of all ages and abilities.
Registration for the Meche's Mile is currently open and will close on December 5, 2024, at 11:59 PM, with no on-site registration available on race day. Early registrants by October 31, 2024, will be guaranteed a commemorative T-shirt. Event day includes packet pickup from 6:45 AM to 7:30 AM, with awards given to the top three male and female finishers in both the open and donut mile categories.
