Race Description
The McKenzie Mott Memorial Turkey Trot is set to take place on November 28, 2024, at Pavilion Park in Liberty Lake, Washington. This annual event was established to commemorate the life of McKenzie Mott, who tragically passed away at the age of 15. The race not only serves as a way for family and friends to remember McKenzie but also supports a Safe Driving Scholarship for local high school seniors, continuing to honor her legacy after ten years of running.
The event will feature race check-in and shirt pick-up on November 25 and November 26 at Selkirk Middle School, with additional check-in on the race day from 7:30 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. The race itself will commence at 9:00 a.m. at the NE corner of Pavilion Park. Participants are encouraged to register by November 1 to guarantee their preferred shirt size, and parking will be available at nearby Liberty Lake Elementary and Liberty Creek Elementary schools.
