Race Description
The Lakewood Center's Outrun Stigma 5k is set to take place on March 16, 2025, in Oviedo, Florida. This chip-timed race aims to raise awareness and funds for mental health services. With registrations now open, participants will have the opportunity to run in support of breaking the stigma associated with mental illness while enjoying a community-focused event with age group awards.
The race will have a range of activities starting with registration at 6:30 a.m. and the race itself at 8:00 a.m. Awards will be presented to the top three males and females as well as age group winners. Participants are encouraged to pre-register for guaranteed T-shirts. The event promises a lively atmosphere while fostering support for mental health initiatives.
