Race Description
The first annual Lake Wilborn Turkey Trot is set to take place on November 28, 2024, in Hoover, Alabama. This festive event encourages participants to wear their favorite Thanksgiving attire while they enjoy a 5K run or walk through the scenic Lake Wilborn area. Proceeds from the race will benefit St. Jude Children’s Hospital, making it a meaningful way to celebrate the holiday season and give back to the community.
The event will kick off at 8 AM with the 5K race, followed by a 1-mile Fun Run at 9:15 AM. Participants are required to register by 7:45 AM on the day of the race in order to receive a bib and finisher's medal. Awards will be presented to the top three male and female finishers.
