Race Description
The Lake Brownwood State Park Nopales Ridge 5K is set to take place on March 22, 2025, in Brownwood, Texas. Organized by the Friends of Lake Brownwood State Park, this event aims to raise funds for improvements in the park, including the development of a playground for children. All proceeds from the race will be reinvested into park conservation efforts.
Participants can expect a scenic 5K run that includes portions of pavement and trail, as well as a 1-mile run limited to paved routes. Registration for the event is currently closed, but fees will increase after February 28, 2025. All registered racers by this date are guaranteed a race t-shirt, and medals and award ribbons will be given to top finishers in various age divisions.
