Race Description
The Turkey Drive Pub Run is set to return for its 2024 edition in South Sayville on November 26. Participants are invited to join this fun run at 6 PM, where the tradition involves running between 3 to 7 miles and donating a turkey for the local Thanksgiving food drive. The event concludes at a local bar, and each runner will receive their first drink on the house.
This year's event encourages runners to not only bring a turkey weighing no more than 10 pounds but also offers an option to contribute additional funds during registration to help cover any shortfall in donations. The funds will be utilized to purchase Thanksgiving food items, which will be distributed to local shelters and food pantries. All runners and walkers are welcome to join this community-oriented event that focuses on fun and charitable giving.
