Race Description
Join us on Sunday, December 15, 2024, for Gene's Jog, an event dedicated to celebrating the life of Gene Harding, a beloved member of the Bloomington-Normal running community. This free, un-timed fun run will take place at GE Park / Union Park Clubhouse in Bloomington, Illinois, and the course is a certified 5K route with a race clock at the start and finish.
Participants are encouraged to register online and wear costumes in themes related to Gene's passions including great food, classic rock, or golden retrievers for a chance to win prizes. After the run, attendees can enjoy a post-run party to further celebrate Gene's legacy. Donations in support of World Central Kitchen are encouraged, and volunteers to assist with setup and cleanup are welcome to contact the organizers.
