Race Description
Muskogee Parks and Recreation is set to host the 25th Annual Garden of Lights Run on Saturday, December 7, 2024. The event will kick off at 4:30 PM at Honor Heights Park, where participants will enjoy a magical evening running through stunning holiday lights. This year’s event promises to celebrate a long-standing tradition, and runners are encouraged to dress up for the occasion, with a costume contest for the best outfit on offer.
With a cap of 250 participants for the 5k and 40 for the Fun Run, early registration is advised. Participants in the 5k will receive custom finishers medals, and to guarantee a T-shirt size, registration should be completed by Thanksgiving Day, November 28th. The event not only offers a competitive race but an opportunity to enjoy the festive atmosphere of Honor Heights Park adorned with three million lights.
