Race Description
The Fall Backyard Burn Trail Run at Fountainhead Regional Park is set to take place on November 24, 2024. This popular race features a scenic course that winds through beautiful hiking trails and old dirt roads around the Occoquan Reservoir in Fairfax County, Virginia. Participants can choose between two distance options: 4.8 miles or 10.3 miles, each presenting a unique challenge with varying elevations.
In addition to the athletic challenge, this event also supports local charity efforts. During registration, runners will have the opportunity to contribute to Homestretch, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping families in need. The organizers hope to raise awareness and funds for the charity, encouraging participants to consider making a donation while signing up for the race.
