Race Description
The Ellwood City Area Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce the return of the "Ugly Sweater 5K" Fun Run, taking place on December 14, 2024. This annual event promises to be a festive and fun-filled occasion for all ages, where participants can enjoy the holiday spirit while engaging in a healthy activity. Runners will take their marks at Helling Stadium, near Ewing Park, in Ellwood City, Pennsylvania.
This year, in addition to the popular 5K run, an untimed 1 Mile Fun Run has been added for participants seeking a more relaxed option. Each participant will receive a long-sleeve tech shirt and finisher medal as mementos of their participation. Registration is currently open for both events, which will start at 4:30 PM, making it a great opportunity for families to come together and celebrate the season in a unique way.
